Practice update from April 2022

To all Patients:

Whilst Governmental guidance changes in respect to the wearing of masks we will continue to ask all patients that they continue to wear a mask when attending the Practice.

As a Health Care Provider, we have worked tirelessly over the past fifteen months to create a safe environment within which staff can work and patients are safe to attend. Whilst the number of positive cases continues to rise we believe it is appropriate to continue with our current arrangements.

So the door will remain open with the use of intercom entry, you will be asked COVID related questions, asked to wear a mask and you will be socially distanced in the waiting room.

If you are exempt from wearing a mask, or you choose not to, you will be asked to wait outside until the clinician is ready to see you.

We are doing telephone triage calls in the morning and if you need seeing face-to face the clinician will book you in, we have an on-call GP who is on call mornings and afternoons to deal with any emergencies.

Please respect the job the Reception staff are doing, they are working to local and national protocols in order to keep the Practice operating as efficiently as possible to make sure we can deal with your issues and queries as quickly as possible.

We hope you understand the reason for us continuing to work in this manner; the situation will be reviewed regularly and changes made when necessary.

Our key focus is keeping patients, staff and the community as safe as possible.
