Patient Notice: Practice Improvement Works

Posted by: ward28 - Posted on:

We would like to inform our patients that the practice will be undergoing building and refurbishment works as part of an approved development to expand our clinical facilities.

Duration of works

The works are scheduled to commence on Monday 5th January 2026 and are expected to continue for approximately 38 weeks. Every effort will be made to complete the project as efficiently as possible.

Impact on appointments and services

During this period, there may be some unavoidable disruption to normal practice operations, including:

  • Increased noise at certain times of the day
  • Minor changes to patient access routes within the building
  • Occasional adjustments to appointment times, locations, or formats

In line with health and safety requirements, some appointments may need to be rescheduled, relocated to alternative rooms, or, where appropriate, converted to telephone or remote consultations. Patients affected by any changes will be contacted directly in advance wherever possible.

Health and safety

Patient and staff safety remains our highest priority. All works will be carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations, and restricted areas will be clearly signposted.

Benefits to patients

Once completed, the development will provide additional clinical rooms, allowing us to:

  • Increase appointment availability
  • Improve patient flow and reduce waiting times
  • Enhance privacy and comfort during consultations
  • Support the delivery of a wider range of clinical services

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period and thank you for your patience and understanding while we make these important improvements for the long-term benefit of our patients.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a member of the practice team.
